PING Anser D Putter
The Anser D Putter from PING make it easy to fit your putting style, preferred visual cues and desired feel. Each delivers forgiveness and optimal feel, with models offering a shallow milled face or PEBAX insert to promote consistency, confidence and lower scores. The PING Putter line now offers 16 premium designs to fit your game.
Whether you prefer a softer feel at impact or firmer, a heavier or lighter head, multiple or single alignment aids, a mallet, mid-mallet or blade.
Tour pros were consulted in creating this model with a deeper (“D”) profile as a hybrid between the Anser blade and a mallet design; the extra mass is useful in stabilizing the stroke for maximum forgiveness. The shallow milled face ensures a firmer response and consistent roll. A new glare-diffusing raw blast finish contributes to the eye-pleasing visuals.
Technology You Can Feel
Four face technologies, which vary by model, will satisfy every golfer’s feel preference. The shallow milled (top left) produces a firm feel. The smooth milled face (top right) offers the firmest response. A PEBAX insert provides a softer feel in either a smooth milled surround (bottom right) or shallow milled surround (bottom left).
Multi-Material Mallets
To achieve extreme MOI and improve accuracy, multi-material mallets -- Ketsch G (above left), Mundy and Tomcat 14 -- utilize a die-cast aluminum body joined to a high-density investment-cast 304 stainless steel sole plate, which positions the CG low and back. The Tomcat 14 (above right) boasts the highest MOI of the PING Putters.
Tour-Inspired Models
Working with pros at tour events and in the PING Putting Lab, we refine and perfect every detail to meet the needs of top players in the world. Multiple-time winner Tony Finau helped create the Anser 2D (above right), and 2023 FedExCup champ Viktor Hovland collaborated on the DS72 (above left).
Aligned For Accuracy
The Anser (above left) and the Fetch illustrate the variety in alignment options and appearance choices. The Anser demonstrates how a single line and color blocking (platinum topline, black cavity), can match your eye where the Fetch represents how putters with multiple aiming cues can help with alignment.
Grip Options
Beyond fitting comfortably and naturally into your hands, the choice of three putter grips (PP58 Midsize, PP58 S, PP60) helps you set up with better awareness of the putter face and they promote proper wrist rotation to help build a consistent stroke.
