Boasting a coefficient of restitution (COR) of .810 and a moment of inertia (MOI) that's 30% greater than the 300 series fairway woods, TaylorMade's new R580 fairway woods deliver the highest COR and MOI of any fairway wood TaylorMade have ever created.

Key to the performance breakthroughs of the R580 fairway woods is the all-titanium contraction and Pull-Face technology employed (the same used in the R500 Series of drivers), which permits thin-yet-strong walls for increased size - the largest-ever for a TaylorMade fairway wood - and superior swingweighting. There's also a sleek sole-design that works in a wide variety of conditions.

That's not all. The M.A.S.2 60-gram shaft contributions to the club's light overall weight, resulting on faster swing speed and greater distance. And the Tuned Weight Cartridge - the same as used in the R500 Series drivers - allows for extremely precise swingweighting.
