TaylorMade Golf has introduced its new V Steel fairway woods, which incorporate a distinctive V-shaped sole design engineered to deliver power, playability and accuracy.

Key features of the V Steel include:

The dynamic V-shaped sole, designed by TaylorMade engineers to minimize turf-resistance at impact, allowing the clubhead to glide squarely through the impact zone without slowing or twisting, resulting in longer, straighter shots.
The same pull-face method of construction used in TaylorMade's R500 Series of drivers-the No. 1 driver on the PGA Tour. Pull-face construction entails creating the clubhead and clubface separately, allowing TaylorMade to engineer a high-strength, 455-steel clubface with high COR for maximum yardage.
A computer-located center of gravity positioned to produce a medium-high trajectory that delivers both maximum distance and which is ideal for workability.
A hosel cartridge that allows TaylorMade engineers to precisely position the high-density polymeric material used to tune the V Steel's swingweight, equaling the best possible feel.
Lightweight, 70-gram M.A.S.2 FW shaft or lightweight steel shaft, both of which promote a desirable combination of consistency, accuracy and distance. Shaft flex offerings include X (extra stiff), S (stiff), R (regular), M (senior) and L (ladies).
