Ping Fairways

The G10 Fairway Woods are engineered with a crown that directly intersects the sole to create a low profile head that combines with a long, shallow face for improved performance from all types of lies.

The intersection of the crown and sole results in a skirt-less design which allowed PING engineers to reposition discretionary weight from the crown, face and hosel for a lower center of gravity location. An internal weight pad creates the low CG location and provides higher ball velocity and reduced spin.

The fully-machined face is robotically plasma welded to the body for consistency and durability. The precision welds allow additional weight savings that are re-distributed throughout the club head for maximum performance.

With large, forgiving stainless steel heads and a high-strength 455 steel face, golfers found the rare combination of distance and accuracy in the five-club series. Like all PING metal woods, the G5 Fairway Woods have robotically welded, precision-milled faces for increased performance, including higher ball speed for greater distance, better sound, and a "hotter" feel.
