Callaway FT9 Has arrived! It has a lot to live up to as the Ft5 was the longest driver on tour in 2008. But The little men in white coats in Carlsbad (USA) have been working hard on the Callaway FT-9 and have exceeded everyone’s expectations.

Fitted with there revolutionary Hyperbolic club Face technology to give higher Ball Speed across the Entire Face, so simply the ball will travel further even when not hit out of the middle! Don’t know about you but that suits me just fine.

VFT (Variable Face Thickness) - By adjusting the face thickness with VFT Technology, ball speeds and perimeter weighting are increased to give more distance and forgiveness.

Fusion Technology

Mixing a Titanium club with Graphite allows these chaps to position weight in places of the head which are otherwise unachievable - positioning the center of gravity precisely which increases stability on off-center hits and enables ball flight customization for shot-shaping control.

Visible External Web Weighting

Fusion Technology allows the web weights to be precisely positioned for a center of gravity that generates the desired Draw or Neutral ball flights, letting golfers hit longer and more accurate drives.

Callaway Golf engineers were able to expand on the success of the FT-5 and surpass expectations with the FT-9 Driver. With the addition of Hyperbolic Face Cup Technology, ball speeds across the entire face have been dramatically improved to generate even more distance off the tee. Golfers will have the option to choose Draw or Neutral configurations with the help of external web weighting that helps precisely position the CG to promote the desired trajectory and ball flight for the desired shot shape. The FT-9 Tour Driver features a slightly open face angle and produces stronger, more penetrating trajectories preferred by highly accomplished players.

This is the tour version. To distinguish between the Callaway FT9 & the Callaway FT9 Tour is easy, the lofts on the standard one are whole numbers (i.e. 9,10,11,13) the lofts on the tour model are something and 1/2 (i.e. 8.5,9.5,10.5)
