The Rescue dual, like the Rescue Mid, is targeted at players who want a club engineered with a draw bias. Because of that, TaylorMade gave the Rescue dual built-in properties to promote a right-to-left trajectory by distributing extra internal weight in the rear, heel area. That internal weight, combined with the Rescue dual’s moveable weight technology, work together to promote either a right-to-left or neutral trajectory.

The Rescue dual is targeted at players who don’t need help hitting the ball from left-to-right. However, the option exists to purchase additional TLC cartridges of varying weights to install in the toe or heel to promote different trajectories. Additionally, players that want to hit a fade have the option to buy the Rescue dual TP, which is engineered to help players work the ball in both directions.

The Rescue dual, because of the weight and spacing of its TLC ports, boasts an MOI that’s up to 20% higher than the Rescue Mid, making i t more forgiving than the Rescue Mid on mis-hits.

The Rescue dual’s new V-shaped sole makes the clubhead more stable at address. That increases con?dence and makes it easier to aim, which promotes greater accuracy. The V-shaped sole also reduces turf drag at impact, helping to maintain clubhead speed through the hitting area in much the same way that the Vshaped sole of the V Steel does.

'GREAT BUY ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE NOT CONFIDENT WITH LONG IRONS'
Strengths: Easier to hit than long irons with extra forgiveness for miss-hits. Essential club to have when playing a course with long par 3's and tight par 4's
Weaknesses: Less control when going for the green than a long iron although does give extra height than an iron does (therefore softer landing)
Overall: Very good club and a must have for modern golf. Gives more choice on the tee and comes in very handy when finding the fairway is a must! More accurate than a 3/5 wood without losing too much distance
